Child Health

The majority of childhood illnesses are dealt with in routine appointments. Childhood immunisations are undertaken by our Practice Nurses on a Wednesday afternoon by appointment.

KOOTH is an online mental wellbeing community for young people aged 11 to 18. On their website, you’ll find a discussion board where you can start or join conversations with other young people, there’s a daily journal and you can chat with a member of the Kooth team for help and advice on anything that’s troubling you. The Early Help Hub is an organisation offering help and support to children up to the age of 18 (or 25 where young people have special education needs or a disability) The team at the Hub work to identify problems and facilitate the right support for families, children and young people. Requests for help are triaged by the team from the Integrated Health and Children’s Service. They decide which Early Help Service best meets the needs identified and the referral is allocated to the appropriate team within 48 hours.
